Exactly what does finding your true calling mean? Is it spiritual? Does it refer to the meaning of life? The happiness you find within yourself. I choose to believe it can be one or the other, and or all. In saying that, I will explain why I am of that opinion. Spiritual your true calling means that people who feel an extreme connection with a higher power will view their true calling as the will to follow a path to be closer to his or higher power. Whether it is Jesus Christ, Buddha, Mohammad, or what he or she believes in and wants to worship, follow, teach, and please. True calling for many will be what he or she believes is best for their family. A life they are able to develop to create an upstanding lifestyle. Well adjusted children, productive and contributing family members with morals who care about their community, others, and the world to make all a better place to live. Finding love and companionship that lasts a lifetime, is what so many strive to achieve in life. Finding happiness with the partner you have chosen to walk through life, and being successful for most is a goal of marriage and what those who marry strive to have to complete a happy and fulfilling life, be it children or a career.
The meaning of true calling for many is in the workplace or a person's career choice. For those who find happiness in the workplace or career is very lucky for these people are the ones who often have found their true calling. Happiness in this area of life makes such a difference in the level of happiness a person finds in life. Being happy everyday by doing the work you love is a fulfilling life to live. When asking what is your true calling these are a few that come to mind and how I believe that question should be addressed. Some important point's people should ask themselves when answering, "What is your true calling."
Personally, I choose to believe this means being true to my faith, raising responsible, well-adjusted, involved children, finding fulfillment in my career has made my life happy, and a success. I am sure many are able to add or subtract to my generalization. However, this is how I view the meaning of true calling. I have been lucky in life to achieve most of my goals. I continue to work on the areas of my life I feel needs more attention. I believe when you stop working on being happy, that is when your happiness begins to suffer. Life is learning and growing experience. None of us should ever quit working to have the best life you are able to live. In my view, this is the meaning of your true calling.
